Thank you for reporting this, Fuji. Could you upload the following as separate attchments?
- /var/log/Xorg.0.log (copied after you have seen the flickering)
- the output of `lspci -vvnn`

Two more things:
- Could you check if it is compiz-related by disabling the desktop effects (System -> Preferences -> Appearance -> Visual effects. Set to "None"). Does it still happen?
- Check if the file Xorg.0.log grows during the flickering. The command `wc -l /var/log/Xorg.0.log` will give you the number of lines in the log file. If this goes up when the screen flickers, it is probably Xrandr-related.
