Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gcursor

I am on a Lenovo X61 laptop running Ubuntu Intrepid. My mouse pointer
theme seems to be stuck at a particular one. When I change the theme, it
only changes the cursor when it is over certain applications (firefox in
particular).

I have attached a Screenshot but the wierd part is, the screenshot shows
the correct theme!!! Although, the pointer on the screenshot is the same
one as selected (white) my actual pointer is the red one! I am sorry
that I cannot prove it, but trust me I can't change my pointer theme.

** Affects: gcursor (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
