$ sudo apt-get build-dep kdenlive

Using info from debian/control

$ sudo apt-get install debhelper cmake cdbs kdelibs5-dev libavc1394-dev libmlt-dev libmlt++-dev libiec61883-dev libavcodec-dev libavformat-dev libavdevice-dev libavutil-devReading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree       
Reading state information... Done
debhelper is already the newest version.
cmake is already the newest version.
cdbs is already the newest version.
kdelibs5-dev is already the newest version.
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
