Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: cmake

Fresh install of Ubuntu 9.04 alpha 6 onto a new ext4 partition from DVD
ran dpkg --get-selections on Ubuntu 8.10;
ran dpkg --set-selections on 9.04, then apt-get dselect-upgrade
Approximately 1100 packages later (including kubuntu-desktop and emacs22-gtk), the error occurred. This may be similar to the cmake versus emacs conflict in 8.10, if that hasn't been resolved yet.
