Binary package hint: compiz
I have not updated since 10.3.09 and after the last update today compiz
has a really slow rendering of less than one frame per second.
When starting compiz there is nothing special to see:

I am on intel driver with UXA enabled.
$ lspci -nn |grep VGA
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller [8086:2a02] (rev 0c)
No fancy plugins (as blur or those) activated, compiz rendering speed is
set to 50FPS.
