[Bug 340615] [NEW] upgrade from 6.06 to 7.04 using alternative installer does not work

I received following information (in Czech, sorry):

Nemohu vypočítat přechod na novější vydání

Při výpočtu přechodu na novější vydání nastal neřešitelný problém.

Prosím nahlaste tuto chybu jako chybu balíku 'update-manager' a k
hlášení o chybě přiložte soubory z adresáře /var/log/dist-upgrade/.

Using upgrade from 6.06 to 7.10 neither to 8.04 is refused.
