[Bug 340578] [NEW] [Jaunty][UXA] Compiz is unusably slow

Public bug reported:

After a recent update, compiz became extremely slow for me. I'm getting about 1 frame per 4 of 5 seconds. Metacity with compositing works fine, and compiz without plugins is still slow. There is nothing in the logs. Everything works relatively fine with EXA.
