Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gscan2pdf

My mouse (Logitech M-RCQ142) does horizontal scrolling when you tilt the
scroll wheel to the left or right. When I do this gscan2pdf crashes with
the following error and data is lost.

**
ERROR:gtkimageview.c:901:gtk_image_view_scroll_event: assertion failed: (ev->direction == GDK_SCROLL_UP || ev->direction == GDK_SCROLL_DOWN)
Aborted

Steps to reproduce:
1. Scan a document
2. Zoom in so there are horizontal and vertical scrollbars
3. Scroll right or left using the mouse

** Affects: gscan2pdf (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
