[Bug 284910] Re: libgdal1-1.5.0 can not recompiled

This does in fact fix any GDAL issues previously noted and my code now
runs and performs as it did in Intrepid. Uploading this fix now. Below
you will see the GEOS/GDAL tests for geodjango. Same results as
<=Intrepid.
