The relevant section from your log is:

Selecting previously deselected package virtualbox-ose.
Unpacking virtualbox-ose (from .../virtualbox-ose_2.0.4-dfsg-0ubuntu1_i386.deb) ...
debconf: DbDriver "config": /var/cache/debconf/config.dat is locked by another process: Resource temporarily unavailable
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/virtualbox-ose_2.0.4-dfsg-0ubuntu1_i386.deb (--unpack):
 subprocess pre-installation script returned error exit status 1

This error is generally a temporary one, caused by running an
installation at the same time as an update of the package db. Does it
reoccur if you try again to install virtualbox? If so, what's the output
of "fuser -v /var/cache/debconf/config.dat"?
