[Bug 339247] [NEW] VLC crash on activation of psychedelic image modification

Binary package hint: vlc

When I play a video (any type and codec) and tyr to activate psychedelic image modification in Video effect menu, vlc crash.
If use gdb I get the following message :
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
0xb4100b9d in ?? () from /usr/lib/i686/cmov/libswscale.so.0

I can reproduce this bug on i386 and amd64 Ubuntu 8.10
