Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: seahorse

% ssh-add -l
8192 09:af:19:00:a3:a1:6d:3f:0f:22:17:c9:a8:37:4d:5e ytti at ytti.fi (RSA)
% ssh -v <host>
..
debug1: Found key in /home/ytti/.ssh/known_hosts:50
debug1: ssh_dss_verify: signature correct
debug1: SSH2_MSG_NEWKEYS sent
debug1: expecting SSH2_MSG_NEWKEYS
debug1: SSH2_MSG_NEWKEYS received
debug1: SSH2_MSG_SERVICE_REQUEST sent
debug1: SSH2_MSG_SERVICE_ACCEPT received
debug1: Authentications that can continue: publickey
debug1: Next authentication method: publickey
debug1: Offering public key: /home/ytti/.ssh/id_rsa
debug1: Server accepts key: pkalg ssh-rsa blen 1045
..I get seahorse prompting for password..
..stays here until i do another ssh session or 'ssh-add -l' again, after which:..
Error reading response length from authentication socket.
debug1: Trying private key: /home/ytti/.ssh/identity
debug1: Trying private key: /home/ytti/.ssh/id_dsa
debug1: No more authentication methods to try.
Permission denied (publickey).

Afterwards:
ssh-add -l
Could not open a connection to your authentication agent.

($SSH_AGENT_PID is running though)

If I manually add my key with ssh-add prior to using ssh, I don't
get seahorse prompt and everything works ok. It is as if seahorse
fails to open the key or ssh-agent.

As completely unrelated thing, it would be grand to have bindings for seahorse API for common
programming languages like ruby and python. Thanks.
