Same here.. and it appears some of the postinst/postrm for zabbix-agent
packages relies on /var/run/zabbix-server as well.

Issues:

  debian/zabbix-agent.init:DIR=/var/run/zabbix-server
  debian/zabbix-agent.postinst:        --home /var/run/zabbix-server/ --no-create-home \
