[Bug 337771] [NEW] xgnokii just freezes after starting

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnokii

When starting xgnokii it doesn't accept any input and grays out shortly.
Status window says "connecting..." forever.

Console output:
$ xgnokii

I haven't configured gnokii in any way yet. Tested on Intrepid.
