Does it happen every time you use the update manager utility?

I'll try to get a Jaunty VM setup this week (can't do it today or
tomorrow due to some other time constraints) and see if I can try to
replicate the situation.

Also, can you do me a favor and see if the problem exists with the
current upstream release. 0.70, of AllTray?  You can download the source
code here on Launchpad:
https://code.edge.launchpad.net/alltray/+download

If not, that's okay; it's not the easiest package to build from source
in the world at the moment.  But if you can test that out and get back
on that, it'd be immensely helpful.
