Hello,
same thing here with Ubuntu 8.10.
My Phone is some other Nokia Phone of the 62XX Series. So this seems to be a general syncml bug.
msynctool does always a slow sync here. So a wild guess of mine is that this is somehow related to the way the slow sync works. But i don't know how to check if the 'standard' sync works fine?

It's really really annoying. I managed it to get rid of the double
entries by deleting all calendar entries from the phone and resync
again. But this is without any warranty! Don't kill me if this kills
your calendar ;)
