[Bug 328679] Re: keyboard bindings partially ignored

This should have never been broken, or at least I think as scaine said
gnome-compatibility should be enabled if gnome is running. Most guides
online refer to using alt+f2 and breaking it just does not make sense at
all, especially that disabling effects fixes it.
