[Bug 393433] [NEW] [karmic] Restoring from suspend ends up with blank screen

This bug is very similar to https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/389968 but
making a new bug report since it differs in some matters.

System is question: Ubuntu 9.10 alpha2.
Graphics card: Intel GMA 3100

After resuming my system after a suspend it ends up blank. No login
dialog is shown and I'm unable to change to any VT:s and there's no
cursor visible either.

kernel: 2.6.30-10-generic
xserver-xorg-video-intel version: 2:2.7.99.901+git20090624.f0270bbb-0ubuntu0sarvat
