Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: system-config-lvm

according to upstream debian bug http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-
bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=519579 a change was included into start script for
system-config-lvm.

As Ubuntu doesn't use the lvm2 init script this gives the error
specified before.
