Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: empathy

The screenshot shows an IRC channel in which there are several people
(one of them talks, another leaves the room). Yet, the list shows no
one.

This seems to happen all the time in empathy. Even the buddy list shows
less contacts than pidgin's buddy list.
