[Bug 386857] [NEW] Firefox hangs with ctrl-F for text on large ViewVC page

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.5

I'm running Firefox 3.5b99 from the PPA
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/fta/ubuntu jaunty main

When I open the following page
http://ascendcode.cheme.cmu.edu/viewvc.cgi/code/trunk/base/generic/compiler/instantiate.c?revision=21&view=markup&pathrev=91

and while it is still loading, I type ctrl-F and then enter
"BinTokensCreate", then I find that Firefox hangs, and sits there
consuming 100% of the processor.

I am unable to confirm if this occurs in the current 3.5b4 release in
the main repositories, but I expect that probably it does, so I am
reporting it.
