[Bug 386104] Re: [karmic] skipping audio

Followed a suggestion from ubuntuforums and installed libsdl1.2debian-
all.

Sadly, it did not resolve the issue. Installing that package removed the
libsdl1.2debian-alsa package.

apt-cache policy libsdl1.2debian-all
libsdl1.2debian-all:
  Installed: 1.2.13-4ubuntu3

After reinstalling libsdl1.2debian-alsa, the version installed is:

apt-cache policy libsdl1.2debian-alsa
libsdl1.2debian-alsa:
  Installed: 1.2.13-4ubuntu3

Neither of these versions resolves the issue.
