Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xgnokii

Ubuntu: 9.04,
Architecture: amd64
package: xgnokii
source package: gnokii
version: 0.6.26.dfsg-3

xgnokii closess just after connection to phone. That is 2-3 seconds after start.
At the same time gnokii command-line utilities work fine.

When started from terminal xgnokii produce some output, which is not always the same.
Here follow several variants of output:
-----------------------------------------------------
(xgnokii:4457): Gtk-WARNING **: horizontal scrolling not implemented

The program 'xgnokii' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)'.
  (Details: serial 6697 error_code 3 request_code 2 minor_code 0)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
   option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
   backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

I believe that error is not connected with phone and connection, but only with X interface.
Nevertheless here is a .gnokiirc file:
[global]
port = 00:17:B0:57:AE:25
model = 6021
connection = bluetooth

output from "gnokii --identify"

** Affects: gnokii (Ubuntu)
