[Bug 383110] [NEW] problem with german hyphenation

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: texlive-base

when compiling the attached tex file (using a default kile install) i get a warning saying:

Package babel Warning: No hyphenation patterns were loaded for
(babel)                the language `German'
(babel)                I will use the patterns loaded for \language=0 instead.

and hyphenation does not work.
