[Bug 382206] Re: New upstream version (0.7.4) available

I tried to backport this to jaunty in my PPA by adding the latest
source-packages for "mlt" and "kdenlive", but found the following
problems, which don't seem to be related to jaunty alone, are you sure
there is not the same problem on karmic? And if no, why?

- the packaging file for libmlt++ is called debian/libmlt++1.install, but the library actually is named libmlt++2 now, as a result the file should be debian/libmlt++2.install
- kdenlive asks for a binary called /usr/bin/melt, which is not packaged by the mlt-package currently. After I created a separate binary package for "melt" out of "mlt", I could finally start kdenlive-0.7.4 and it seems to work fine on jaunty now.

FYI, the updated packages of "mlt" and "kdenlive" that finally allow me
to run kdenlive 0.7.4 are available at https://launchpad.net/~dominik-
stadler/+archive/ppa for your reference
