Since this is a critical piece in the U1 infrastructure, either you or
the OLS team should subscribe to the Ubuntu bugs for couchdb and respond
to them. Can this please be done before this goes into main?

Also, this needs a split for couchdb-bin, to avoid pulling in the system
instance by default (that's not really a main inclusion blocker, but a
blocker for the further path of making it into the default
installation).

Approved, but blocked by erlang MIR and package bug subscription.
