Thank you for reporting.  I think this may be fixed in 1.4.9 which is
about to be released in Karmic.  Please verify.

I will set this to fix released once 1.4.9 hits karmic unless someone
steps up and states here that the 1.4.9 packages from my PPA don't fix
the issue for them.
