[Bug 401375] [NEW] screen turns off and on during normal activity

Binary package hint: xserver-xorg-video-intel

During normal operation (activity on the keyboard and mouse) suddenly the backlight turns off to be followed by the screen going black (about 1/10th of a second between those two events).
Then, after about 1-2s, all is turned back on to normal.
