[Bug 129737] Re: deleting a backup throws exception: "invalid characters in input"

I filed those bugs two years ago after an initial review/test of ebox
packages. I'm not actually using ebox, so I can't say whether these were
fixed in a newer version. However, the test case in the description
should be clear enough.
