I don't know if this is relevant but I get these messages in my console
when I try to play a trailer on apple.com:

LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library /usr/lib/totem/gstreamer/libtotem-narrowspace-plugin.so [/usr/lib/totem/gstreamer/libtotem-narrowspace-plugin.so: verkeerde ELF-klasse: ELFCLASS64]
LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library /usr/lib/totem/gstreamer/libtotem-narrowspace-plugin.so [/usr/lib/totem/gstreamer/libtotem-narrowspace-plugin.so: verkeerde ELF-klasse: ELFCLASS64]
LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library /usr/lib/totem/gstreamer/libtotem-narrowspace-plugin.so [/usr/lib/totem/gstreamer/libtotem-narrowspace-plugin.so: verkeerde ELF-klasse: ELFCLASS64]

And when I try to play a video on youtube.com these two messages appear:

LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library /var/lib/flashplugin-installer/npwrapper.libflashplayer.so [/var/lib/flashplugin-installer/npwrapper.libflashplayer.so: verkeerde ELF-klasse: ELFCLASS64]
LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library /var/lib/flashplugin-installer/npwrapper.libflashplayer.so [/var/lib/flashplugin-installer/npwrapper.libflashplayer.so: verkeerde ELF-klasse: ELFCLASS64]
