[Bug 398289] [NEW] xfig 3.2.5-rel-2ubuntu2, ubuntu 8.10, AMD64, font selection broken

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xfig

A very small font is displayed irrespective of the font selection made
in xfig. Also, teh printed font does not correspond in size to the font
displayed on-screen. However, what is printed may actually be a better
approximation of the selected size and type face than the font displayed
on-screen.

I have used synaptic to load font packages beyond the x11 75dpi or
100dpi that get installed by default. So far, no joy with that.

FYI, I have xfig 3.2.4 running in Cygwin on a laptop and all is well
there.

The installation here is:

xfig 3.2.5-rel-2ubuntu2, ubuntu 8.10, AMD64
