An fsck ran on the /ubuntu/disks/root.disk and after fixing alot of
errors, the system came back up and seem to be running normally for a
short time. Then I get more errors on the disk I/O device buffer errors
in /var/log/messsages.

Maybe wubi didn't create the root.disk file correctly. I have check the
disk for bad sectors and it's fine.

I will try to install Karmic again using wubi..
