Public bug reported:

am new at downloading educational packages and installing software on
linux (ubuntu). have no clue what to do to solve this error or what it
means, really. am downloading whatever science and mathematical software
i can find to make a special cd for my niece and nephew who are in
university and high school, respectively. that is why i am doing this
software collecting because from other ready-made packages i have seen,
all the vital stuff i need to find/download is not included.

pls reply asap when someone gets this message, because i have to solve
this pressing issue well before school season starts in mid-august 2009.

email: jerasimosmantas at gmail.com

ps: thank you very much for helping in any way you can. any advice or
further help to find/download what i need would be very appreciated.
