Public bug reported:

During package installation the post install script hangs forever at the
step that says "Generating /etc/dibbler/client.conf-dpkg-new". The only
way to get out of the package install is to hit Ctrl-C twice in the
"Details" window. This leaves the package in a "broken" state according
to Synaptic and dpkg.

Description:	Ubuntu 8.04.2
Release:	8.04

dibbler-client:
  Installé : 0.6.1-1
  Candidat : 0.6.1-1

 *** 0.6.1-1 0
        500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/universe Packages

I expected the package post-install scripts to execute successfully, but
they never complete.
