Problem still exists in Karmic Alpha-2

Normal graphics mode: Vertical stripes appear in screen
Safe graphics mode: Xorg seems to restart itself few times and message appears with:
"sil164 not detected 
tfp410 not detected 
(EE) intel 0: No valid modes"
and to the screen comes vertical and horizontal stripes

ttys are accessible with ctrl+alt+fX.
