Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.5

I tried to install firefox 3.5 from the repository, and it says that it
needs to install dependencies and lists dozens of gtk libraries. Using
KDE and knowing that firefox does not require GTK to run, I downloaded
the binary package from firefox. Upon inspection of the package
distributed from Firefox, I indeed did not find any GTK libraries
included with their distribution. Also, there's an entire Firefox-gtk
compatibility package to make firefox compatible with GTK, so it
obviously isn't the native libraries. Please confirm and update the
distribution package for firefox-3.5 to remove any (all) unnecessary GTK
packages. I do not like installing 3rd party binary packages when the
software is available on the repository.
