Public bug reported:
The upgrade failed when upgrading form hardy to jaunty. I unfortunately
closed the terminal window before realizing it was giving me an option
to report it as a bug like this. Sorry.

Update: I looked into the attached terminal log, and noticed the error
about "too many symlinks". This may have been caused by how I had
previously manually backed up the imapd.pem file. I believe I may have
created a symlink myself and then maybe this threw off the package
script on the update. Here are the files on my system:
-rw------- 1 daemon root 2133 2009-07-04 01:14 imapd.pem
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 22 2009-03-08 23:27 imapd.pem.bak -> /etc/courier/imap
So it makes sense why it thinks there are too many levels of symlinks.
I just can't remember if I had something to do with the pre-arrangement
of the files/symlink before the package update, or if it did this on its
own.
One thing that could be done, however, would be for the script to check
whether the symlink is pointing to the target file the script is trying
to work on, that way it avoids this infinite recursion.
