[Bug 395342] [NEW] empathy: after sending myself an IM message, I cannot close the conversation window

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: empathy

If I create a contact with the same AIM username, I can send myself
messages to test the system.  However, when I use this in empathy, I
cannot close the conversation window.  It immediately pops back up.
Running ubuntu karmic.
