Hello!

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and trying to make
Ubuntu better.

I've read the discussion and understood the problem. Other users in that
discussion pointed out that this bug is fixed with Ubuntu 8.10 , and I
can confirm that audacious works as you expected with 8.10 . For this
reason I'm going to mark this bug as Invalid since we don't know which
code change fixes it.

If you want you can request a Backport for these packages but since
Ubuntu 7.10 will be outdated in some months I don't think it will be
worth that. Anyway you can find more information about backports here:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports#request-new-packages .
