[Bug 316874] [NEW] Dell Latitude D620: port replicator video doesn't work

When booting this laptop in its port replicator (Dell D/Port), video
works fine.  However, once gdm starts, the external video goes blank and
stays that way.  I can switch VTs and it works there, but X does not.
Startup and shutdown splash screens also work fine.

A couple of times I got the gdm login screen to appear on the external
video; however, when I logged in the screen went black.  I also tried
the 'failsafe terminal' session once.  Typing 'xrandr' in the terminal
caused the screen to go black.

This is on Jaunty, kernel 2.6.28-4-generic.
