Gabriel,

The error is not related to dependencies. The program seems not to have a good sanitization of the input, for example if 
you try:

# nss_updatedb blah passwd

You get the error:

Failed to load nameservice provider libnss_blah.so.2: libnss_blah.so.2: cannot 
open shared object file: No such file or directory

If you check the attachment you'll see that the second parameter is
never validated when two or three parameters are passed to the program.
