[Bug 335986] [NEW] Unable to open URL while using Russian locale

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: empathy

I use Empathy 2.24.1 and Russian locale at Ubuntu.
This is the bug:
1. In Empathy menu open Help > About
2. In opened About Empathy dialog click project URL (http://live.gnome.org/Empathy)
3. See error message (screenshot in attachment). Near translation from Russian:
==Unable to open URL==
There was an error while executing the child process "/home/sergey/Рабочий" (No such file or directory)

That is because in my Russian Ubuntu instead of having usual folder name
like /home/sergey/Desktop I have its "localized" version
"/home/sergey/Рабочий стол" (yes, with space). Looks like Empathy didn't
expect that.
