Nicolò: no, it's not but I don't own an ALPS touchpad therefore I rely on your feedback. I'll upload a new version with the following settings:
SingleTapTimeout = 0
ClickTime = 0

But of course I'll have to hear from others to make sure that these
values don't cause problems to other ALPS touchpads
