[Bug 334945] [NEW] Wouldn't install

I selected a -dev file associated with this package, on my package
manager.   After downloading, it did, it said it couldn't be installed.
Sorry, I'm relatively new to Ubuntu so I can't provide more accurate
info than that at this time.
