Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: grace

When plotting data in xmgrace on Jaunty, display errors occur:

* Axis numbering appears on a black background
* Changes in axis numbering/labels appear superimposed on the previous text rather than replacing it

To replicate:

1) Download the gain_simple.dat file (I will attach this shortly)

2) Type the following in a terminal window (assuming the package "grace"
has been installed)

xmgrace gain_simple.dat &

3) Change the axis labelling/numbering

The EPS printout seems fine, no error messages are dumped to the
terminal and everything displayed properly in Intrepid and previous
versions.

** Affects: grace (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
