PROPOSED CHANGES:
New major upstream release. Sync from Debian.

RATIONALE:
Benefits of this version are significant, including new maps, game modes, physics, kart handling, powerups, sound effects, the list goes on. 

Tested supertuxkart 0.6.1a+dfsg2-1 on Jaunty. Debian packages install
just fine. Game runs properly. I tested menu navigation, and played a
quick race of the racetrack map. I didn't encounter any bugs /
regressions, the game felt stable and polished. Upstream development
included a release candidate, and has already had a bugfix release since
0.6.

ADDITIONAL INFO:
We've had a new supertuxkart release with each Ubuntu release since it appeared with Edgy; it would be nice to continue this tradition with Jaunty :-)
