[Bug 333164] [NEW] Unable to change colour (fore and background) of certain elements in gPHPEdit

Binary package hint: gphpedit

I'm unable to set the fore and background colours on certain elements in
gPHPEdit. This is really noticable when I try and set the background to
a dark colour and certain elements still retain a bright white
background.

Elements in question are (in their settings):
General: braces, break lines
HTML: plain text (non-tag items), white-space
PHP: parenthesis, semi-colon

** Affects: gphpedit (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
