Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: vlc
The menu of VLC is misleading, there are two items with the letter V
underlined which means both of them would be accessed by pressing Alt+V.
All other combinations (for example Alt+F) work, therefore this bug is
different from #2772.
What to do:
Attempt to Get to "Video" menu item without your mouse, you will need to press Alt+V to do that.
What to expect:
Video menu item should drop down.
What actually happens:
View menu item comes up because it is also using Alt+V combination and is to the left of Video
The proposed solution:
Video's quick key (hot key) should be redefined from Alt+V to Alt+I and 'i' should be underlined in Video rather than 'V'.
Version:
VLC media player 0.8.6e Janus (wxWidgets interface)
** Affects: vlc (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
