Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: flashybrid
I've had a bugger of a time dealing with /var/run/network/initialized
and all associated state files with the newer ifupdown functions.
/var/run/network/* is accessed quite a bit in init.d/* and rcS.d/*
For some reason /var/run/network is completely missing after enabling
flashybrid for the first time. I had to init 1; mountrw; touch the
directory; fh-sync; init 2; to get it to stick properly. However the
'ifstate' and 'initialized' files in that directory need to be removed
after fh-sync does it's job during a clean shutdown.
Adding '/var/run/network' to ramtmp seems to fix the issue for now.
** Affects: flashybrid (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
