For try, i've created a new fresh user account on ubuntu, I've logged
off, and I login with this. Compiz going enabled on default (I see the
shadow on the dock), and I don't see, again, nothing on top bar window.
Only the bar.

- I've read https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+question/27845, and other stuffs but don't solve the problem spawned tonight with last jaunty updates: With compiz i can't see buttons (but they exists and works).

if i switch to metacity window manager (without effects) or emerald, I see correctly icon app, minimize, maximize and close. With alpha4 fresh install I don't have this problems.
  menu:minimize,maximize,close exists on gconf-editor.
I've tried to delete any home configuration: folder .gnome2, .gnome2_private, .config, .gconf, gconfd and restart x-server with ctrl+alt+backspace and i've noticed (never seen before) a 1/2second flashing after the 1st see of login screen...

  Thank you.
